Please update the app to v1.3.0 and make sure the device stays Online.Then go to Device Settings → About Canvas and check whether Upstream Configuration is disabled and empty.
Please tap the yellow banner at the top of the page to restore it, then set up the Playlist or Schedule again. The image switching should work normally after that.
