How long does the battery last?
When showing a static image, the E-Ink screen does not emit light and does not consume power. The communication module of the device stays in a low-power sleep state and only uses a small amount of energy. Based on typical usage: Normal use (refreshing the image once per day): battery life is approximately 1-3 years.
How do the battery and charging work?
Charge the device via the USB-C port on the back.
A red indicator light means the device is charging. A green or off indicator light means charging is complete.

What happens when the battery runs out?
Even if the battery is completely drained, the last displayed image will remain on the display, but a “No Power” message will appear in the top-right corner.
Do you use AA batteries or a lithium battery?
The devices use a rechargeable lithium battery, which is charged via USB-C.
Will the lithium battery age over time?
Battery aging is based on charge cycles. Since the device only needs to be charged occasionally, it can be used for many years.
How does Wi-Fi affect battery life?
When the device is idle, it automatically enters sleep mode and turns off Wi-Fi to save power. Wi-Fi will only consume power when the device is awake and connected.
